1.    Shop in Bulk for your Items and Keep Your BBQ on a Budget

One of the best ways to shop for the ingredients that you need for your barbeque is to shop in bulk.  If you are having a big barbeque with a lot of people attending, don’t get pound packages of hotdogs, go buy the bulk packages.  You will find that as you shop in bulk, you will actually save a lot of money per unit. This will make it a lot more cost effective and make it so that you are able to get the food that you want and not overpay for it. Try warehouse membership stores to get the best deals on bulk food items.

2.     Ask Guests to Bring Food and Alcohol

Don’t be embarrassed to ask your guests to bring food and drinks.  Generally, when you invite people, they will always ask what they can bring, take them up on this.  Doing so will keep your bbq on a budget. Ask them to bring an appetizer, ask them to bring a bottle of soda, ask them to bring a case of beer.  Chances are, they will be more than happy to do so, and you’ll get some more items that you don’t have to make or pay for.  This is a great way to have a barbeque on a budget.

3.       Don’t Buy Premade Sides and Main Courses

If you are buying those premade burger patties, they are so expensive.  Sure, it may take you a little more time, but it will save you so much money.  You want to make sure that you are doing the same thing with sides.  You can make your potato salad and your baked beans so much cheaper than buying those items in bulk.  All of these little things will add up and keep your bbq on a budgert. It will save you a lot more money than you can think.  Take advantage of these and save some cash today on your barbeque that you are throwing so that you can have a blast and not go broke.
