How to find a recycling center?

What can be done to locate the nearest recycling center?

I want to take my kids out to recycle some newspaper and glass bottles but I don't know the best place to go.

Think someone can point me in the right direction?

Hm, perhaps Google Maps would be your best bet? Either that or a similar map program. Just type something like "recycling", or "recycling center". Good luck!

Hi

In the UK we have a kerbside collection so that is great. I know in some countries Like Sweden and parts of the US you can take your recycling to a local supermarket and there is a machine (looks like a vending machine) that you feed your cans and maybe bottles can not remember, into it and it gives you a coupon to spend in the supermarket.
