Why do moles come to the surface?
It seems pretty safe for them to just travel underground all day, so why would they need to ever come to the surface? I see them all the time!

Merrnin,

Moles occasionally come to the surface to search for food. They'll also come up if the ground they're in is flooded.

I always wondered the same thing. Thanks for the heads up, Dan.

Poor moles being flooded out of their own homes and holes, that's a sad thought. I wouldn't even think they'd ever want to hit the surface, so many predators up there.
