    Hi

I always get the kids involved in the garden, but be prepared for a bit of a mess. So make sure they have some old cloths on and sunscreen in the summer.

Good point, make sure to have some old clothes – don’t let them go in their regular clothes. Kids will get about 5x dirtier than you do!

  2. DTG says:

Good comment Suzy, old cloths are a must and suitable footwear as there can be thorns and prickles so be careful

As this post states, it’s very important to plant stuff the kids will actually want to eat. If you don’t, they won’t be able to truly enjoy the fruits of their labour!

  4. Warzlin says:

A way to get your kid to eat veggies is to introduce yummy ways of eating them, such as adding a few things they like to it. For example, peanut butter and celery is always a hit!

  5. Topias says:

Thanks for the tip, Warzlin. Another tip would be to make things out of the vegetables that are tasty, like giving them something coated in spaghetti sauce, which is full of vegetables.
